Population Stability
The US Census bureau has released its estimate of the population for July 1, 2007. Hightstown has a projected population of 5,271, an increase of just one percent over the 2000 census. This can probably be attributed to the increased numbers of houses in the township, specifically the Enchantment development.

The state of New Jersey is offering up to $3,000 in grants to help you upgrade your oil tank. These grants often cover the cost of replacing a non-leaking underground tank.

Have Dog, Will Walk
The borough's second annual dog walk designed to raise money for spaying and neutering dogs and cats, will take place April 12th. The stepping off spot will be Grace Norton Rogers school. Please bring a leash and pooper-scooper..
